Reduce your carbon footprint and save the Earth

As many of us know our home is suffering and slowly dying, thanks to global warming and thanks to us. Fortunately, it is never too late to do the right things. This post was inspired by a thread that was created on twitter by @avokaiito. Majority of this post will showcase her twitter thread with some add ons of course.

+The average person produces an estimated 4.5lbs of waste per day. That is 31.5lbs a week and 1,642.5lbs per year.

+ All of the products listed below are from Amazon. It has been brought to life in the thread that any considerate consumer would not purchase from Amazon for an abundance of reasons. However, the rebuttal was one that we could agree with. "Most people have amazon accounts and already purchase products from them. My approach wasn't aimed for everyone to be ethical, zero waste consumers overnight, mainly to get them to start thinking of alternatives and show that they are easy to find", says twitters @avokaiito. We can agree with that statement because Walmart is also not an ethical place to shop, yet many of us still shop there for convince and price. Amazon may not be the best way to purchase products, but we do have to drastically reduce the waste we create or our planet will continue to suffer and our health will suffer as well in turn. The more people begin to look for and purchase eco-friendly products the more companies will create and sell these products. It will become a trend and then will become more readily available across more stores. Let's begin GOING GREEN! Check out some of the products below and let us know if you have anything to add to the list!
